Mandragora

Das Mandragora begann 1977 als „Crêperie der ersten Stunde“ und gilt durch seine über 40-jährige Tradition als „Wurzel des Bermuda3Ecks“. Das Jahr 2022 brachte eine Veränderung mit sich: Ein neues Team baut auf Bewährtem auf und lässt das „Mandra“ weiter gedeihen.

Das Mandragora ist ein fester Bestandteil der Bochumer Kneipen-, Musik- und Restaurantszene. Nicht nur das: wir stehen klar zu unserer Heimatstadt und dieser Region, immer in dem Bewusstsein, dass das Ruhrgebiet stets Schmelztiegel verschiedener Nationalitäten und Kulturen war, ist und auch bleiben wird.

The Mandragora was founded in 1977 as a restaurant, pub and creperie, being the first creperie in Germany at the time. Due to its long-standing tradition of over forty years, this place is the definitive root of the famous Bermuda3Eck.

The year 2022 brought a change: After two years and three weeks closure due to renovation and reorientation, a new team brought the "Mandra" back to life, making sure this pub will thrive and continue its tradition as one of the most famous pubs in Bochum.

The Mandragora is an integral part of Bochum's pub, music, and restaurant scene. Keeping that in mind, it is almost our duty to stand by our hometown and our region. Since the 19th century, the Ruhr Area has been and always will be a melting pot of different nationalities and cultures, something we picked up while creating our menu.
